 | From school I worked for D.M.Hodgkinson, (sister company of Bowmer & Kirkland), and went to Wilmorton college for 3 years and achieved my City & Guilds in Painting & Decorating, with Advanced skills, passed with distinctions. I started this business in 1990 and it has grown steadily ever since. My skills consist of: Graining/marbleing, coving, specialist paper hanging, various paint effects and various joinery skills, ranging from new skirting boards, architraves, panel mouldings and various panneling effects. |

 | Daniel was my first apprentice - he has been working for me since early 2003. He has finished his college course and achieved his NVQ level 2, City &Guilds qualification. Dan excelled at college, and his lecturers were very pleased with his attitude and approach to the work he produced, which continues into his work carried out for me. He now has a great understanding of what is required at a professional level and can easily achieve every aspect of the job at hand, from simple to complicated work, his thirst for learning is never ending, with the added ability of understanding procedure and solutions to problems that can arise. He is a very polite, courteous, and reliable asset to my business. |
